Lewis Bush

Photographer | Critic | Lecturer

Lewis Bush (London, 1988) maintains a multifaceted practice encompassing photography, writing and curation. His photography increasingly explores ideas about the way power is created and exercised in the modern world, and engages with questions about how to represent issues that are nebulous and complex. Many of these projects have been self-published as books, newspapers and in other formats, employing a mixture of traditional and experimental narrative, and material approaches.
Bush is also known for his writing on photography and visual culture for a variety of publications, and has maintained the Disphotic photography blog since 2011.
